The ultra-pure water used in the laboratory has relatively high requirements for pure water under normal circumstances, and can be divided into 3 levels of water according to different occasions. For primary water use, the resistance requirement is greater than 10MΩ (conductivity is lower than 0.1us/cm), and half of it is used in very strict analysis experiments. For secondary water, the resistance requirement is greater than 1MΩ (conductivity is lower than 1us/cm). This type of water is mainly used in inorganic trace analysis and other tests, such as atomic absorption spectrometry. Three-stage water, which is generally used in ordinary chemical analysis experiments, can be prepared by distillation and ion exchange. Laboratory ultrapure water equipment can meet the above water quality at one time. The specific scheme is as follows:

1. Distilled water:

This kind of water is often used in laboratories. The equipment is relatively cheap, but some magazines cannot repel it, such as carbon dioxide, ammonia, silica and some organic matter. And the storage container is also more particular.

2. Deionized water

The deionized water prepared by ion exchange technology can drive away the anion and cation in the water. It is 1 more traditional process for preparing pure water. The pure water after ion exchange has a relatively high purity, but the water still contains a small amount of organic matter.

3. Reverse osmosis water

The principle of its formation is that water molecules become pure water through the reverse osmosis membrane under the action of pressure, and the impurities in the water are trapped and discharged by the reverse osmosis membrane. Reverse osmosis water overcomes many shortcomings of distilled water and deionized water. The use of reverse osmosis technology can effectively remove dissolved salts, colloids, bacteria, viruses, bacterial endotoxins and most organic substances in the water.
